A biofilm is composed of millions of interacting micro-organisms. Research now indicates that microbes exhibit properties in biofilms that they do not as separate, isolated entities. On a weekly basis, clean the handle and the brush head (including under the nut) using mild soap, water and a moist clean cloth. Clean the charger base periodically. Always be sure to unplug the unit first.             How often should Sonicare brush heads be replaced?       The brush head should be replaced at least every six months (every 4 months if it is used by someone with braces).             If I programme the Sonicare for 2.5-minute brushing sessions, how many brushings will I get on a full charge       The total amount of time does not change: the charged Sonicare Elite provides 56 minutes worth of brushing.
